The Solemnity of the Epiphany invites us to rejoice at the great light that has come into the world – this light is the Word of God made flesh, Jesus Christ himself.
At the beginning of Anno Domini 2023, we place ourselves under the maternal protection and care of the great Mother of God, Mary most holy. We ask her to guide our steps and our hearts, as we begin another year in the civil calendar. May she pray for us always.
Fr. Paweł Ratajczak, OMI, Br. Grzegorz Loska, OMI, and Fr. Jerry Gauvreau, CC
On this Gaudete Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Joy, I would like to focus with you on the Gospel, St. John the Baptist, and Jesus’ question – what did you come to look at?
Our readings on this, the Second Sunday of Advent, speak to us of God’s righteous judgement, the virtue of hope, St. John the Baptist, and the Blessed Virgin.
In the season of Advent, we focus on that which is most real, most enduring, in life.
In the month of November, I would like to spend some time with you to talk about the things that have to do with life eternal.
